How do you store CDs (especially ones in paper wrappers)?

I use those round things you find blank CDs sold in. They hold a lot, are stackable (good when you have limited desk space) and are clean (as long as you don't get dirt in.)
I use this for programs that come in little paper wrappers, as I'm very clumsy and have broken a CD or two.

For ones in better cases, I leave them as are.

Funny, as I've been doing it 3-4 years without a disc damaged (unless I dropped it on the floor or something.)

I use the same as OP. So far none have gotten damaged. In fact, most of the time the damage that they do get comes from me forgetting to put them on the spindle. After all, blanks get put on thos spindles and then shipped, maybe accross the world. If they survive that, my cd's can probly survive sitting on the desk on the spindle.

I have a stack of plastic drawers where I store all sorts of crap. I've got a drawer for aquarium equipment, one for acrylic paint, one for beads, one for plastic toys, and so on and so on. In that there are two drawers for computery stuff - one for cds and floppies, another for manuals, hardware, tools, and so forth.

Music CDs I keep on my bookshelf.

CD binder/wallet can hold paper sleeves.

I use a wallet that has clear vinyl areas to store the album labels, cd keys, etc...

I store them on the spindle that stacks of blank cd-rs come on. Not the safest way, but I have too many and I don't care that much. Things I access often go in a booklet, or on a hard drive.
