How do you "unfortify" a unit?

I looked everywhere but I can not find how to unfortify a unit. Now I guess Sentry is different, but I fortified a unit by mistake instead of setting it on Sentry. Now I can not set it free to move on.

Any thoughts?

If you are using a mouse just click it. If you are using the keyboard hit TAB and then use the arrow keys to move the cursor over the unit and then hit enter.

ha, the first comp i had to play this on, i didnt have a mouse that worked on it, so i could only build militia and like two cities of my own, and if it was fortified, it was fortified for life. thats when i built a phalanx wall across the continent for defence too
