I have just modiffied my artillery and cannons with the lethal bombard option in the editor, but nothing happens, I supposed that with that option you could sink enemys ships or kill enemy troops, is that right?
I will appreaciate your comments, thanx!!!!

Lethal land bombardment can kill land units - unrealistic and non-historical.

Lethal sea bombardment can sink (eventually) ships - realistic.

Edit your units accordingly.

What else is there to say??

First of all, did you change the option during a game in progress? If so, it won't have any affect until the next time you start a game.

How?

Catapults, Cannons and to a degree Artillery I agree.

BUT...

Radar Artillery should be given Leathal Sea and Land Bombard. They are devastaing weapons in our military.

Land leathal bombardment I would have to say isn't very realistic.

If "Radar Artillery" is supposedly the US' MLRS artillery, then while it's more accurate than older artillery, it still doesn't have the degree of accuracy to destroy units.. land or sea. They're still unguided rockets, if you're talking about anything guided, then that's what cruise missiles are for. ;)

Check this out.

Under the illustrations it states.
The M77 submunitions detonate on impact. The antimateriel capability is provided through a shaped charge with a built-in standoff. The M77 can penetrate up to four inches of armor. Its steel case fragments and produces antipersonnel effects with a radius of 4 m.

If that isn't lethal bombard I dont know what is. If a whole 12 pack is fired it can nuetralize an area of 1,000 square meters.

yeah i heard of this before - area effect weapons that affect a very large area. this is the first time though that i heard that, indeed, just several missiles can totally decimate an area of 1000 square meters. amazing! totally lethal!

I'm giving Lethal land bombardment to my MORAN unit, which will be my Israel UU.

It's some Top-Secret weapon the IDF developed that is anti-armor.

It's supposed to be Unique and un-matched because it has a range of 30KM (!!!) and accuracy to hit a target the size of a tank!

You can find more about it at www.isayeret.com .

The MLRS don't fire missiles directly at a target. They fire to a position and they explode above this position and kill/destroy personnel/ equipment within the area.

This is the reason why Iraqi's called it Steel Rain.
