How far have we traveled into space?

I have not been playing this mod for a few months last year, but your recent updates successfully dragged me back into the game! Nice work all of you guys from C2C team!
I've noticed a lot of updates about the lunar and space colonies. There're new terrains and features added, and new units that seem to function for later-game space explorations.
Thus, I would like to know if we can actually explore and colonize the moon and space (as multimaps?) in current versions of the mod? I haven't found it in c2c's encyclopedia though.

Hi there, as far as I know multimaps are not in yet.

Are you using the SVN Build? If so be careful since there currently are some compatibility breaking updates to be implemented. See the SVN discussion thread for more details.

Thanks for the reply. I started a game on galactic era earlier, and found the spaceship settler no difference from the other settler units.
So this means none of the lunar and spatial features are available in actual gameplay?

btw, I have noticed the SVN incompatibilities. Thanks for reminder. (There's also a conflict in the special promotion xml here. Is it because my Windows is not in English?)

C2C is not designed (yet) to start in any Era But Prehistoric. If you start in Galactic there will be Oddities like starting with the early settler. Not recommended at all.

As it is now, if you play a map with a Moon, you can launch spacecraft settlers and build lunar cities with their own lines of buildings. I am working on similar colonies for cislunar space, Mars, the solar system, and interstellar space. Hard to tell how long it will take, since all of us have paid jobs or other things that take priority.

You can't launch (yet). But if you edit a settler on the moon you get access to the building line.
