It's in the title. It seems like a nice mod, I'd very much like to try it out, but I'm worried it would go really slow.

Can someone compare it to ROM - A New Dawn and/or Realism Invictus, in terms of speed, please?

It is incredible faster - thx to all the new systems especially Koshling invented, I can play a GEM turn in 5-15 secs (using the latest SVN version and enabling the "faster AI turns" bug menu option).

Core game loading time is much faster as well.
Compared to the old ROM/AND, the new C2C is like a Ferrari to a Beetle --- ALTHOUGH C2C has more of all techs, terrains, concepts, buildings and so on it still has a much better performance :worship: coders!

As DRJ said, C2C is much faster than either ROM or AND, an we have so much more in terms of assets than they did. On my old (4 years) laptop with a Core Duo, turntimes on a Huge map in a developed game are about 30 sec, which I feel is reasonable.

And a lot more stable. When we used to play AND, we wouldn't be able to get through a round before a crash in the lategame but now we're doing pretty much fine... and that's on multi-player play with a really weak computer linked in! (can you say 1G ram? Previous computers crashing during AND were twice as good.) Well done on stabilizing the platform guys!
