How many aliens...

Not necessarily. A race far in advance of mankind should have passed through our present phase of rapid population growth and achieved a high standard of living all round - no more big families. They could then scale their population back until they're living in harmony with their biosphere...

Or maybe a superadvanced race would have a collective consciousness, like the Borg. In which case:

It would take only 1 to change the bulb, but the entire collective would be thinking about it.

How do you know you're not conversing with various anonymous aliens on this forum?

One and only one.

The alien finds the humans' leader and gets him to do it for him.

One Alien and a great deal of lightbulbs as the aliens far superior strength would crush the lightbulbs.

An actual quote from the television series Babylon 5:

Q. How many Centauri does it take to change a lightbulb?

A. One. But in the Great Old Days, hundreds of servants would change thousands of lightbulbs at our slightest whim.

The aliens in "The Abyss" didn't need light bulbs. They had photoemitting organs in their own bodies.

That might be the Galactic norm: especially for the "brighter" species...

None, they will just take over our planet and then use our burning carcases for light.

none, they'll die trying to figure it out
