5 siblings. I am followed by 3 younger brothers and then 2 younger sisters.

As children we harassed our younger sisters all the time at home but any kid at school trying to bully them will soon find themselves being roughed up by 4 bigger boys.

I've got an adopted brother eleven years older than me who I see about once a year now. Nice guy, just don't know him very well, he was in boarding school from when I was four or five, then military (Marines) then college. We're very different except we're both pretty smart and like board games.

I also had one brother and one sister who both died in early infancy (at about six months both of them) of a spinal disorder called spina bifida. I think this can be cured now but back in the 60's appartently it was fatal.

I occasionally (thought not often) wonder what my life would have been like had they lived or what they would have been like if they survived. They'd both be around forty (years old) by now. Of course, perhaps my parents would've been more careful in the years to come had they been born.

My mom also had a miscarriage so technically I'm one out of four. Despite my older brother I've had the life of an only child. It was a bit lonely and my girlfriend and I (who also has a sibling many years older and another whou would have been much older who died in infancy) plan to have four kids (assuming we stay together indefinitely).
