Actually, I'm not sure it is a scam, according to them they use a transparent proxy to modify html pages so you don't get any pop-ups. Also, there's not much they can do if you simply have your browser running through their proxy.
I just tried it, but the proxy doesn't seem to be working.
If it was working it would remove pop-ups and the like, but it would slow down page-response time.
If you're looking for a pop-up stopper or ad-blocker, I recommend one that doesn't use a proxy so as not to slow down your browsing.
Well I'm not actually interested in stopping adds so much as I was curious to know what happened. I'm not too familiar with this kind of thing so I was just trying to familiarize myself.
Well, the "transparent proxy" they speak of may stop pop-ups, but what's to stop them from invading your privacy and monitoring your web traffic as you access web pages through their proxy server. Steer clear of this one, unless you like exposing yourself (and any data you happen to send/recieve through internet explorer) to strangers.
