Seriously, I can't remember the last time I actually played a game of Civ instead of fooling around in WB.

I tend to play 2-3 games per week (3 or more when they're going wrong), while focusing on one at a time. I usually play for some 2:30-3:30 hours in a day (during school time I limit myself to 1:30-2:00 hours, IF I do play). By the way, you should have included a poll with this post.

I play for maybe an hour a day during the summer. I read this site way more than I actually play, though.

When playing a game I usually spend 3-6 hours per day on it, with occasional 1-2 day gaps within the game. Between games, usually 3-6 days.

Each game may take 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 weeks to complete, 60-110 hours of play (I PAUSE the game when I take a substantial break within a day). Huge maps with 2 hemispheres, Marathon speed.

They do NOT call me Speedy Gonzales, obviously.

It goes in phases. Right now 2-3 hours a day, but sometimes I don't play the game for a couple months. I play sloooowly, so it takes me a few weeks to finish a game.

How often I play civ is hugely dependant on the time I have. I have currently lots of free time, so i play about 2 marathon games/week right now.

When I have more work to do, I might not play for a month, and then pick it up again.

I do play 1 multiplayer co-op game a month with Pir Lan Tota (teamgame vs AI) regardless of workload. we make the time for that one

I play about every other week, sometimes less. After eighteen years of playing Civ (Since the first release from Microprose) I tend to spend more time here than I do playing the game.

Often I start 12-13 games in a week, but I play only 1 or 2 of them into the end. I usually play at prince or monarch.

Since I am new I have done 2 games last week, and plan to do 2 this week. Usually take turns while it is in window mode while playing Prototype or on a forum or watching tv.

2-3 Games per week, usually each session will be about 4 hours or so, but longer if i'm into it, shorter if my attention span is waning and I know i have to stop to save my empire

Though from time to time I take a break, weeks and weeks at a time or months. Till i see a doco about 'that empire' or such, and then crave Civ again. With Diablo and Star Craft 2 coming out 'soonish' too I foresee a break coming up.

I would so wish to have more time, but it seems like I just cannot find any to play as often as I would like.

Right now I play maybe a game every two weeks, and I often do not even get to finish that game. There are so many things that require attention that civ time gets a hit, unfortunately...
