How often do you play a game of civ.

If I'm in the mood, about 4 times a week for long periods. If I'm on an off-spell, once a month at most.

Same here. When I'm on a roll I can play for like 12 hours straight (including a swift stop for pizza). Other times not at all. Once u start playing its hard to stop.

I stop playing Civ, maybe because of the following: I have a real life with responsibilities, biological needs, other entertainment addictions to satisfy, a social life, among other stuff.

I also play in phases. If I'm in a so called "civ phase" I play it almost every day for 1:30 to 2 hours.
I never finish a game though, because if you have set up your empire, it becomes like a sandbox game.

This is hysterical! And figuring out how to smash Pacal would also truly bother me throughout the entire day.

I also play very often - even multiple times per evening after work.

How did I played till 5? Well, I just noticed that some light is coming to my room and it was down. CIV is the only game that I ever played (since CIV I) that can hold me by the PC for the 12 hours.

How did I made it trough the day, well 2 red bulls and 5 shots of coffee.

BTW. That Pacal jerk is, now seriously missing some troops and whole fleet.

A typical game takes about a week to complete. I play every week I'm home.

As others have said, I also have a Civ-phase. During that I usually play 5 hours a day. And then it might be months without a game.
