How powerful are the "exploits"?

T105, capture Sidon.
It seems that Courser is not that afraid against Pikeman.

Dido is about to suzerain Valletta, and she's running at 100+ faith per turn so will be easy to buy walls then. We must capture as many cities as possible before she suzerains it.

T107, a Mapuche city rebels and joins the Scythian civilization.

Back in Scythian cities, cities are busy building wonders, Petra, the Forbidden Palace, Kilwa Ksiwani, Alhambra and Mausoleum of Halicarnassus are built simultaneously in different cities.

It seems that I'm not getting a lot of amenity penalty, is the formula changed post patch? (Poor Macedon, his ability becomes useless.)

The garrison+1 amenity card is really a powerful card.

It seems that after the update that Commercial CSs now build both Commercial Hub and Harbor, Trade routes become very profitable.

City Center 3 gold, CH 3 gold, Harbor 3 gold=9 base gold

A single trade route through water/railroad doubles this to 18 gold

With other policies like Triangle Trade, or Suzerain Hunza or Antioch or Kumasi, or bonus from great merchants or Great Zimbabwe, the base gold can easily yield 30-40.

And under the current patch, such gold can be further multiplied by Colonial Tax, Kilwa Ksiwani and Casa De Contraction or Amenity bonus, making this 65% stronger.

So a trade route can yield as much as 60-70 gold per turn, crazy. Even with only Triangle Trade and Colonial Tax you'll yield 22*1.25=27.5 gold per turn.

T124, eliminate Carthage in order to satisfy the Geneva bonus requirement. This map is lack of Scientific CSs, only one presents, which is Geneva. This is terrible as the Kilwa Ksiwani bonus does not apply to science yield.

I read it as meaning no trade in peace deals -- you can't ask the AI for anything, or accept any bribe the AI offers.

Strictly speaking, no peace deals as the whole dealing system is broken and shall be avoid using, not "no trade in peace deals".

I noticed in the most recent updates, that the AI now heavily favours running city projects to secure the great people. The early great people get scooped up fast, especially scientists.

T128, build 2 workshops and buy a 3rd one, Scythia is welcoming industrial revolution!

Unfortunately, there're only 2 coal sites in the Scythian territory. Is it a change that limits late-game resources? I have the land of 5 civs but only 2 coal sites, if you don't conquer other civilizations you're likely to have no coal at all?

The wonder building project which starts around T100 start to take effects. Kilwa Kisiwani, finished on T130.
Kilwa is vital for Scientific victory, +15% for a lot of types of yields is just crazy.
