How to change from Subversion to Git repo?

I havent been around for a bit and saw the mod has changed from SVN to Git repo. Has anyone published a guide or set of steps for changing>?

There is nothing you can or have to do with the current folder that is under version control with SVN. You have to delete it and start fresh from Git, using the guide above.
