How to change landmarks?

A tough question at those with more civ modding knowledge:

Okay, So I have

unpacked the fpk,
found the "civ5artdefines_landmarks.xml",
edited it in modbuddy,
checked "reload landmark system"
loaded the mod



and nothing happens.
The changes are not applied.

Any clues? I'm tearing my hairs apart......
