Hello people,

I have this game where I like to change the victory condition with victory point scoring off but I already started the game. Is there a way to do that??
I thought of maybe converting my save to .biq and using the save editor, is it possible to convert .sav to .biq? (if so, how do i do that, im a newb)

Also what is the best site or medium to ask questions about this game, the civ discord isnt active

Welcome to CivFanatics! I believe this is the best place for questions and stuff concerning modifications of Civ3.
To your question: You can try Gramphos' Civ3MultiTool. This utility includes a "SaveGameModifier" which can modify many things in a saved game. When you open the savegamemodifier, choose the tab "General", and you can change victory conditions.
Hopes this help.

Hello, thank you, the only problem is how do I open/use his Civ3multitool? I have downloaded the files but i just dont know what to do with them, i have read the 'readme' file but i still dont know what to do with it to use it. lol im dumb, hopefully you can help me

Unpack the files to a separate folder, and create a desktop shortcut to C3MT.exe. This shortcut should launch the menu interface. Sometimes you get an error message - just click "Cancel" (several times, usually) and restart. A tip I found in the tool's main thread says that if you have Windows 10, then you sould run it in WinXP compatibility mode. I have Win 8.1, and it works fine for me (without WinXP compatibility mode)..

 ... I had never given this matter any thought at all, but ...

It is conceivable that a mod could deliberately utilize one set of Victory Conditions, for any or all of the first 3 Eras, to manipulate AI behavior - then change its (and, to a lesser extent, the Player's) behavior, to whatever hypothetical end.

Of course, this would require extensive testing if the AI's actions truly changed, or whether they remain "set" with the .biq's VCs.
