How to deal with Vote Grievers?

Apparently the vote system demands an unanimous vote rather than practicing the majority vote.

So if someone leaves, the griever will vote to "WAIT" the game. The next thing is we all end up with the vote screen for the next 12hours.

In 1.09, I've seen people vote WAIT and get overrulled by majority. In this case, it was 5 CONTINUE vs. 1 WAIT, and the game continued, dropping the disconnect and supplanting him with AI.
