How to get an epic war going?

Well, my current game (as Assyria) has turned out to be against, in the Order in which I have met people so far: Mongolia, Iroquois, Germany, Carthage, The Celts and The Huns.

I haven't fully explored the map yet, but I think the last civ was eradicated by Attila. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it were Zulu.

So that's one way.

Finally managed to get one going!

I was on immortal difficulty, playing on the East vs West map with me on one side and Iroqois/Shoshone/Greeks on the other side on one team.

Wars on previous civs were more epic anyway, especially world wars where almost all nations were involved, also 3 parties.

Multiplayer wars for me tend to be amazing. The quick clicking, losing units every turn, can't really compare to singleplayer.

Here, so that you can see I'm not talking my ass off.

A wartorn city state of IFE spend its whole existence fighting England, Spain, Zulus. Until I came on by and allied it and had my panzers run through and clear off all patrolling barbarians and their encampments.

Barbarians tried to come back two times but after that just plain gave up.

Hiawatha is the first one to suspect that I might bring around the second Dark Age. That modifier changed to that when I wiped out the Russians to gain an excellent North invasion route into Hiawatha's lands.

As I made advances into Iroquois lands, I've been pillaging every single Luxury I could pillage... it had quite an noticeable effect as it plunged their happiness into -40. Plus snatching up as much allied city states I could.

Snatching denmark cities away from Iroquois the moment they gained them in peace treat with Denmark.

And this isn't all, I was also in war against Celts and Zulus. Only reason I dow'd Celts is because they had ALOT of units just chilling right outside Moscow and I didn't want them shooting my northern invasion force in the back so I killed off their soldiers first because I'm not allowed to ask the AI if they is just passing through is here to attack me.

Then the forces which was chilling at my only Fur city sallying out to join in the assault on Zulu lands.

Back to Iroquois, those group of bazookas and artillery managed to cross the small channel safely during the -40% suffering on iroquois' navy so that several desssys of mine could hold them up enough for them to cross and land onto the small peninsula to assault an port city and raze it to place a city in more better spot. xD

I love lightning warfare its so underrated, it allows panzers survive battles that they shouldn't if they didn't have that trait. I can have panzers dance through zoc and pillage like mad with their final position in an excellent defensive position.

This city, was Japan's last city which I took over.. I lost the spices to a citadel which is why I decided to dow him immediately. xD The forces in this city is staying on defense for time being because I noticed barbarians running amok so i let them do their damage before moving in next.

Then I moved my dessy in closer and saw even more barbarians having their way iroqoius' lands. xD And they even managed to kill two uh what was the name.. antiair missle tanks. xD

Well this is probably not quite epic but decently awesome. Panzers + Lightning warfare = haxs
