How to make your game more historicly acurate

I'm sure someone's eyes would pop out after reading that... probably someone who applies to many of the "1000" clues you play civ3 to much... :mischief:

I'm not sure how dumb you'd have to be not to be able to download and unzip a modpack. Unless it was my old E2K.. naming patches after days of the week and mispelling the civilization III folder probably thwarted a fair number of potential players.
 
sigh... If there was an "annoyed" smilie, I would put it here.

Maybe the sarcastic smilie is kind of annoyed, but the blush smilie? No. That is not annoyed.
 
Hi ... I was thinking why dont we make all bonus resources tradeable ( i mean that we could trade catle, wheat, etc. The only one which should not be tradeable would be gold ( for obvious reasons) because wheat , fish , meat (catle, etc.) are sold every where in the world every time since the begining of time.

I think that would be a little too complicated for not-so-great modders. It's not the only thing I think would be impossible to do. :crazyeye: Oh, and welcome to CFC, King Olaf I! I always wanted to say that. :)

Thanks... But i did it yesterday in a wolrd map (Marla´s) and is working ok for the moment....ah and do you know about the pirogue? i find in the editor a unit called pirogue and i tried to use it in a game but suddenly an error appeared ¨ERROR PIROGUE¨ and the game closed.
Do you remember if civ2 had the pirogue... if im not mistake the pirogue was one of the first ships ever made in history.

Sorry for the Off topic response..BUT AMERICA DOESA NOT HAVE THE LARGEST MILITARY ON THE EARTH!:eek: Yes its true, Sorry America you don't have the largest military on Earth. China has the Largest Military on Earth and i think America was around like the 7th largest Military on Earth. I don't know if i would say we Americans would even have the strongest Military, Since Vietnam(We lost) we been fighting thrid world nations with very little military powers and my fellow Americans we DO NOT RULE THIS WORLD....

Back on Topic The game don't have to be Historic accurate but there is things that could be changed but its still a fun game.
