How to make your game more historicly acurate

1. is the annoyed smilie. Take it or leave it, because there isn't another one.

2. If you don't want to make Japan be the only civ to start with the wheel, give Japan warrior code instead. The only reason why Japan gets the wheel is because it shared traits with the Aztecs in vanilla, and now that the Aztecs have been changed in C3C, give Japan warrior code.

3. :groucho: is really common. You just have to know where to look. And I've never seen it mean "annoyed".

Sorry for the Off topic response..BUT AMERICA DOESA NOT HAVE THE LARGEST MILITARY ON THE EARTH! Yes its true, Sorry America you don't have the largest military on Earth. China has the Largest Military on Earth and i think America was around like the 7th largest Military on Earth. I don't know if i would say we Americans would even have the strongest Military, Since Vietnam(We lost) we been fighting thrid world nations with very little military powers and my fellow Americans we DO NOT RULE THIS WORLD....

Back on Topic The game don't have to be Historic accurate but there is things that could be changed but its still a fun game.

We don't? :groucho: Well we probably have the strongest military. Or maybe the military with the most weapons.

You're right, Turner. If we want to argue about what real-world country has the best military, we should make a thread about it where it belongs. We really should get back to How to make the game more historically accurate. Which brings me to something: If the Mausoleum of Mossolos or whatever it's called becomes obsolete with communism, it should be made a required tech or non-commie players would never research it.

Why would a Mausoleum become obselete, ever? Especially one that increases happiness.

"I'm sorry, we've researched umm, Communism. Now that Mausoleum isn't gonna make people happy anymore because they know that there is a system out there in which all people are supposedly economically equal."

Look at it as more of a shift in the way people think.

Communism was supposed to be 'forward thinking', doing away with 'old style' thinking and beliefs.

A better implementation of it would probably be to have the Masoleum go obsolete when the government type is communism, instead of when you learn communism.

I won't get on the subject, except to say that Europen Nations have the same Military Tech we have, i spoke with a Marine friend of mine and the The British and German, and some other nations Armed forces are more "High Speed" then ours. Speaking of weapons i think they should have all units have to be upgraded or the will just be disbanded. What nation uses a spear man in real life? Against a Tank.. Like The Three best Tanks in the world is consider The British Challanger, The German Leopard, and the French Leclarc(SP) What nation would use a Archer or a spearman against those tanks?

So, when you're commie, the Mausoleum doesn't work? Is that what you guys are trying to say?

Most of the Civs use Democracy, in real life you will find alot of diffreant nations useing diffreant goverments. To bad there wasn't a way to make the game where the Civs would use other ones.

Most civs use Democracy when they are in peace. If they are drawn into a long war, they will most like go into Fascism or Communism. Actually, in C3C, lots of AIs go into Fascism on their own.

It makes sense. Peace = economic success = people like Democracy more.

The MoM makes three citizens content in the city it's built or something. I costs half a penny and I've only built it in OCC games.

Well, you have a point there. Also, this thread is starting to get stupid. If we want to talk about real-world civ-related things, we should open a thread about it. Otherwise, let's try to make the game more historically accurate.

It might be sensible to bear in mind what is actually possible with the editor.

Effects: No more than half shields and gold can be wasted through corruption.

Not possible.

Worker rate:100%, but 125% if your civ has the Religious trait.

Not possible.

Sorry!

I know. It's been obvious about these, well, at least, the first two. However, you might be able to edit the base code of the game if you knew what you were doing and make these changes, but only an expert programmer could do that without completely destroying the game.

The .txt files in the game don't do any configuring. They're just the text that you see in game. If someone could crack the game and get the base code, then we could do something.

Yeah, the base code, that's what I meant. I have edited my previous post.

Ok after being away for a week and a half r more playing conquests, it's time for some sanity!

Like Philosophy, You should get a free tech with scientific meathod.

I think that's what the ToE wonder is for.

Ever concerd not everyone can build the T.O.E.? If you can manage both, you will gain a singificant lead. but with that much production, your empire will probably not be to large. You can use the lead effectivly. It's really a whole new twins on the industrial ages.
