How to make your game more historicly acurate

Thanks for the idea, mirc. :)
Aztec Eagle Warrior: 1.2.1, 20 shields, enslave, replaces spearman

Id like to see some new planes... Actually, a whole new era dedicated to the World Wars... WWI Era and WWII. With such things as giving the British early tanks or such. or in WWII the Japanese get Zero's and Russia gets its tanks.

Some new Artillery units would be nice too...

Maybe the Soviet Kaytusha Rocket Trucks or some howitzers.

There's the WWII in the Pacific Scenario, do youu have C3C?

Sounds like you just haven't played any pro grade mods yet. You know, same game but added units, wonders and buildings stuff like that, all pedia supported of course. Theres only a few out there but they fit the bill for what your after .

I wish that the whole switch production is removed when you build wonders. Is totally unrealistic. Someone beats you to building Pyramids, but hey that's OK you can switch to a Great Lighthouse, like there's not much difference between those 2.:crazyeye:

Ancient Age Civil Engineer: Emperor I have both good and bad news for you.
Emperor: Okay, let's hear the good news first.
Ancient Age Civil Engineer: We have completed the base of the Great Lighthouse!
Emperor: Excellent! Now what about the bad news?
Ancient Age Civil Engineer: Some tribe called the Dutch beat us to the whole thing.
Emperor: Damned! Okay - just stretch it out and build a great wall from the bricks. And throw your workers to the floor!

:yup: it's silly.

Unfortunately though, there isn't much better for the alternative. Will you get half way done, and all of a sudden you decide, hey, let's not finish it and just leave it half done in the middle of the capital, cause I think someone else built it. :crazyeye:

Nope, it doesn't work like that, because the half done building will be demolished so that you could give the workers another task.:D
And leaving a half done building makes a lot more sense than building a pyramid out of a gigantic statue.:p

Yes, I think it gets converted into raw materials for the project you switch to. What would make that realistic is a few-turn delay on that, length depending on how much was put into the last project. Plus, I HATE this:

In between turn x and turn x+1:
The Persians have built the Pyramids in Persepolis.
The Zulu have built the Collosus in Zimbabwe.
The Babylonians have built the Oracle in Babylon.
The Celts have built the Temple of Artemis in Entremont.
The Inca have built the Great Library in Cuzco.
The Maya have built the Statue of Zeus in Chichen Itza.
The Arabs have built the Mossoleum of Mauselos in Mecca.
The Japanese have built the Hanging Gardens in Kyoto.
The Aztecs have built the Great Lighthouse in Tenochtitlan.
The Indians have built the Great Wall in Delhi.

Okay, I admit, that hasn't actually happened to me, but smaller versions have, and it is very annoying.

 :rotfl:

Hey, you Romanians. There's a guy over in World History asking about Soviet troops in Romania...

For a scenario methinks.

You guys, you forgot about the [offtopic] smilie... ;)

Who thinks Jag Warriors should have enslave?
