How to preset to lowest graphics setting possible??

Hello, I was just wondering if there is a way to preset Civ V graphics setting to the lowest possible without having to do it in-game?

My computer can't handle the default settings that comes with the game, and it crashes whenever i try to log into the main screen (therefore i can't change the settings in options).

I was just wondering if there is a way to permanently set everything to lowest possible setting (via some external coding) before starting the game?

You can try editing entries in the relevnt .ini file (GraphicsSettingsDX9.ini or GraphicsSettingsDX11.ini) found in your "Sid Meier's Civilization 5" folder (for me it is under My Games). Does the game even let you get to the screen where you choose between DX9 and DX10/11?
