So, I was playing a standard Earth map as Askia and I started in about the area that is present day Sudan. Crushed a lot of barb encampments and got pretty rich, making research pacts with my colleagues on the Eurasian continent (Africa was bare aside from me and some city-states) Long story short, I out-teched the crap out of everyone. Met Elizabeth shortly before Washington crushed her out of Central America and took everything North of Panama for himself. Now, with his vast land and my tech, we're pretty much 1&2 the entire time. Anyway, sitting with two mech infantry and two artillery outside of French-occupied India, I was informed that Napoleon had just teched into the Renaissance Era and decided this was probably enough of a force to liberate India's three cities. (Turns out, it was three more units than I needed). Just as I am welcoming Ghandi back into the game, Washington tells me he can't overlook my war-mongering. Now, I can accept this. I started an unprovoked war, after all. But there's a problem: Who told Washington I started a war with Napoleon? I was looking for allies beforehand and, when I went to Washington, I learned that he had no contact with anyone other than me (having crushed everyone whose territory he ever saw under his ever expanding boot, city states included).
TLDR Version: The AI knows that I declated war even though they don't know the person I'm at war with... Or anyone other than me, for that matter... WTH?!?!?
