I was playing this game with alot of islands and stuff.....
I was the most advanced civ.....
with the stronger navy....
having infantry while they have riflemen
(most of their forces are still pikemen and longbowman)
my military was strong compared to them!
I figure I could expand into those distance island (i need coal)
soon after i found EVERYONE DECLARING WAR WITH ME
I check, my expansion caused.... my military to be weak....
they might want to stop my expansion....
sinking my ship and their full load of troops!
i was amazed that they even send a little
trieme into the ocean to engage my fleet....
to lost of those ship cause massive headache....
i dearly need to reinforce my distance islands....
and it took 8 turns just to reach it....
they even started to pillage my main island.....
soon i lost my cities in the distance island....
building of a wonder started my golden age.....
I MOBILIZED!!!! producing infantries and artillery in 2 turns
but amazingly I couldn't take back the cities....
(no battlefield medicine yet, and they were ganging up)
I lost 2 leaders in the battlefield and countless artillery
(lucky they don't have the technology to capture the artillery yet)
the lost of naval superiority cost me dearly!
at the end I lost the island with coal, and never got railroad.
but I did DO 1 thing to them.....
