I had this great idea

Take a look at Sparthage power in the first save...
and btw, difficulty auto-increased to Emperor, i expect it to go to Immortal should my civ keep up with that power...
and my economy depends heavily in building Wealth, take a look at the army maintance in the finances screen :p

Last time i played in GEM Monarch as Germany i was quite backwards...guess LoR AI is just insane... :(

I can't put mods on my comp for a strange reason, so I can not look at the power.

Stronger than mine, can't you take a look at the save? :p you must have a massive army to be that strong...anyway, you are big, is keeping up with tech, and have a massive army

Oh, i changed some things in the scenario :
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=72JLBKC7
Asia :
1. I changed Inhotep Capital position, now it's coastal, it also gets one more clam, so now i think he will be quite strong early game.
2. Seeing Yoshiegg wasn't wanting to expand in the islands, i put him in a island where the only way to settle another city is using boats, i also added a lot of resources because of this, i hope now he will expand around in the islands and also in the mainland.

America :
1. I made Ilduce position stronger and added one more fish to New Orleans (SK Capital) because last game i took a look and at some points it had 2 pop...even if it was the capital it was very small
2. General Olaf was expanding a lot before, getting almost all of South America by 250 AD~ so i made his Capital Buenos Aires, where he only gets 2 wheat, instead of 2 wheat and 1 deer...

Europe :
1. I added one more wheat in Moscow, because Redspy wasn't expanding a lot in Siberia, allowing Omega to get a lot of cities here.

I started playing with your first scenario.

Only problem is that Mosher is incredibly stubborn, like Tokugawa

tell us how the AI done after some time...

btw, i'm thinking doing this scenario in LoR, because i'm starting to think that way too many minors appear in CCV...and there's the bug civs (like the Celts)

ah much better, :D

I found out about the fixed borders...the hard way. Why did you enable fixed borders? I thought I would be smart by sneaking in a city on a prime spot right next to Tomorrow's Dawn's borders then use my GE to instant build a wonder for culture, but the border's never moved...

You can change it by starting a custom scenario.

i think it would be more realistic, considering in real life countries fought over just a few km or even m. plus that way if you want a tile because it's strategical or something like it you'll have to fight over it, in real life borders never changed because you built a wonder.

EDIT :
Well, i done one in LoR mod, with RFC map, i would suggest using this one, because LoR is older and has less bug than CCV (both are great mods, but CCV is still a new mod and has bugs...), it loses a lot of optional thingies and some good features but it has other good features, and still has the Revolution Mod, that is a must-have, hell, vanilla just is so much...vanilla...

After considering my test games in CCV, i changed some things, like starting positions, but most aren't changed.

however :
-> Yoshiegg, your capital is at Java now, it is a good city, has quite a few resources, however it lacks production, i hope the AI will start to consider expanding into islands, i could've made your leader Meiji, but i think Joao traits suit more you and your civ ;) (and i couldn't find in the WB file where to change traits...)
-> Inhotep starts by the coast, and now has a good position, unlike in CCV, where i was using another map...his position in RFC map is awesome now.
-> Redspy looked very well as Stalin LH, however considering he is meant to be Russia he expanded poorly, while Omega ended up getting the regions east of him in my game, so now he is Peter, that has the Exp trait, and i hope will expand more in Siberia :)
-> Omega becomes Stalin for the reasons above
-> I gave Montreal more resources, food ones, now maybe Ilduce will expand more
-> Minor change in Civ'ed starting position and i only gave 2 food resources to Celtic Fury, unlike before where i also gave some other resources.
-> Incas start with Mining and Agriculture so that everyone will have around the same chance at getting a religion early-game.
-> I start properly at Vienna now that it has more resources i think the 4 mountains won't be that of a burden, but tell me if my civ doesn't keeps up with what's expected of it : becoming a world power (especially in production and power, after all i'm Germany, duh)

I think it's just that, so there's the scenario :

If you want it so much...
but Tambien claimed mostly the USA (well, half of it because it seems SK or somenoe else got CSA), considering the size of North America he would never manage to claim both USA and Canada :p Also the positions allowed for it to actually be possible to place you in Canada, plus i was using HJ map...
The biggest problem will be the barbarian hordes and you'll (at least as AI) probably depend in Yoshi to have safe ship crossing.

That's bad, in my current game you managed to get almost Canada - USA borders with SK, after both you killed Tambien
and both you were quite powerful

anyway...
playing a game with it, seems good so far, Trexeric got really powerful, Russia (Red Spy) and Finland (Omega) also done quite good, however when Omega for some reason dowed Red Spy (that founded christianity some time later, managing to draw me and Trexeric in the war) when Red Spy had a bigger and more experienced army (they sent armies to help me fight the spanish minors back then, later i destroyed the Spanish in Brittany and another minor in Gibraltar (Netherlands) with the help of my 300 Austrians :) my army was much bigger but i lost a lot of men before, probably won't train a big army now that i am trying to get a powerful economy)
Also of note is Ethiopia, emerging in England and managing to settle nicely entire GB, quite interesting :) will they also be a major colonizer? :D
Yoshi managed to settle some islands, however probably because of many barbarians in the mainland and most islands he won't be able to settle a lot, and whiout good production i don't think he will take over the barbs, maybe i should put some good resources in the islands he is more likely to settle first.
Tomorrow's Dawn done poorly, but i think that is supposed to happen, i won't boost his position.
btw, Inhotep is massive, he owns Persia and almost entire India (save for a minor city)

there's the save so ppl can take a look at the world as of now:

If you can PM me or something like that with how civs were doing in your games it would be nice, i want to know the ones that do poorly in every game and the ones that dominate... (well, some are designed to dominate because of their position, but i want to know anyway)

EDIT :
Changed your position Ilduce, removed the bonus resources i had placed in Montreal and gave Sydney some.

Yoshi, later tell me how your game was like, now i'm gonna sleep

but before that...
From what i saw the Americas Civs are going to be very powerful and advanced, i think the north american ones are the 2 most powerful of the game in my save, from what i saw from a great work...top 2 civs were unknown, so probably from the Americas.
Also interesting how i, as germany, lagged behind in tech and now am very powerful in every aspect, and only more advanced nations in the Old World are my best buddies Russia and Scandinavia.
Ethiopia (GB) tried a invasion but just got their armies killed by the 300 Austrians and their axeboys (lol) and lost their mainland colony at Brest :p

Just wondering, next time, can you post some screenshots?

I can't open the save, but would like to see whats going on.

:p
but then who Ilduce would be? I would like to make him England because he is Australia, and i don't remember if there's Henry in LoR, if there's not then Churchill would be the only English male leader. :p
Will try to make it, but your civ remains Russia, right? (makes more sense than Finland being England...)
Now i'm thinking about making Ilduce Ataturk or De Gaulle...

Like Red Spy asked, there are some Screenshots :
