I hate clerks!

It's sheer force of habit; when you're required to say this all day long, you end up saying this even if it isn't exactly necessary. I work customer service in a call centre, and after a day at work I once ended a phone call with my dad with "Do you have any further questions at this point ?".

After working a shift at one place I go work at the other job and pick up the phone and say "Thanks for calling..." and said the name of the other place I worked at.

After saying "Thank you" 500 times a day I wouldn't have any enthusiasm in it at all anymore, so I would sound like a robot.

You didn't read the parts where I said "if they dont want people bringing items with them inside the store, they should post a sign saying this much"?!

Or did you just choose to leave it out, to try to make something unreasonable sound reasonable?

I have never been to another store that won't allow customers to walk in if they have shopping bags in their hands. Is it unreasonable to expect them to inform customers of such controversial store policies?


I know they can ask me to leave any time they want.
That's not even close to being the point, since they never asked me to leave.


Also they are required by law to take back items and refund my money.
Did you miss this part too, or leave it out intentionally?

I don't really see why he is, as this isn't a store.

If you vent in a way that attacks a particular job or hobby, prepare to be vented back if a listener has that job or hobby.
