It seems to me that sin, bad people, and evil are human inventions, not God's.
God created humans, so human inventions, are god's

Your logic is flawed. An omnipotent god could limit his power and unless you know god's purpose in creation, you cannot judge his success which may not be related to your sense of well being at all.An all powerful god means that free will is impossible. You don't have any choice. God created you that way, therefore you act that way. Therefore evil is entirely the fault of god.
Therefore god is evil.
Do you understand my logic?
in that case Jesus killed God, seems a little contraversial

It might even be easier to make the case that a scientific approach to the universe renders free will null and void.
Agreed, no matter how much you hate God, he will still love youIt's okay, he'll still love you just the same.![]()
I disagree, I believe in a God and yet I do accept the responsibilities for my own actions. As for being too bored without a fantasy life, I would also disagree with this.CurtSibling said:Believing in a god is just a crutch for people who cannot accept responsibility for their actions, or would be too bored without a fantasy life.

Actually free will is more closely linked to omniscience than omnipotence. Reconciling free will with an all-knowing god can be complicated. An ominpotent being could limit it's power!? Then it wouldn't be omnipotent (unless omnipotence also violate the laws of logic, in which case anything goes). God created what we define as evil, even if it had a higher purpose. Evil is entirely the responsibility of god.
And why I should take your testimony as a benchmark for the human race???
You are but one person...Big deal.

And yet your initial statement was a generalization. CivGeneral was just countering that with his experience that your stereotype is untrue. Thus you're either obligated to revise your statement (maybe say "many" or "some people") or attack CivGeneral's evidence. (though I'm not sure how you could)
and we are but 2 people, anyway 1 or 2 billion christians need to have a word with you tooYou are but one person...Big deal.

IIRC one third of the angels rejcected god to follow Lucifer.Either way it is your choice. Must be nice that a God who doesn't give you a choice gives you the choice to reject Him. Would you rather be a robot like an Angel?
Ironically, you should be thankful that you have the CHOICE to say God, F*** Y**.

What makes you think the universe is like a computer program? No god didn't give me that choice. It's like designing a computer program that says "You suck" on startup, and then casting it into the junk yard. Not very belevolant is it?
