I have Civ1 for Mac, but I don't see a profile option for it

So yes, Civ 1 for Mac does exist.

I see my topic has been moved from the site feedback subforum into the Civ1 subforum, but I'm pointing to a site-related problem : in my profile page, I can specify which Civ games I have, except that for Civ 1 there's Civ 1 DOS, Civ1 Win, Civnet, but not Civ1 Mac. That's the problem, imo...

Heck, five years later and still no Mac option. It’s rather strange considering the Mac version war far superior to the PC version…

It seems we have added Amiga and SNES since 2019, but indeed, there's no Mac (or PC-98) option.

I've flagged post #2 so the staff can see it and it can be discussed. I cannot add it myself but that two additional versions have shown up (and that there surely will be options for Civ VII some day) suggests this may be doable.

I don't really understand what this means, but Mac civ still sees a bit of love here. I somewhat recently used some mod tools for the windows version to do some new tilesets and unit icons for the Mac version.

The save compatibility with with windows also means you can play scenarios on Mac too!

To be precise, thanks to our benevolent administrator leif, it means that you can now indicate that you have the Mac version of Civ1 from your "Account Details" page.

Bit of a shame to see a 5 year long misunderstanding that could have been avoided. The problem could have been made a bit clearer in the original post though as presumably whichever staff member saw it back then didn't get the context of "profile option" in the title and there's no other detailed description or screenshot of the actual problem in your post. Hell a screenshot of the Civ1 options like in Quintillus's post instead of a screenshot of the game would have made the issue clear as day to anyone seeing it. By the time it was explained better in the 2nd post the thread had already been moved and back in 2019 there wasn't an full time active moderator for the Civ1 section to see it, then by the time I got the keys in 22 the thread had been buried so this is the first time I've even seen this. Talk about back luck lol! Oh well, glad to see this fixed now...
