I like you!

I had a few puppy love relationships, so I'll start with my first high school relationship.

One of my old friends from elementary school whom had moved 40 miles away threw parties occasionally to which I was always invited (they had a huge house). At one of these parties, I met a girl named Lara.

Lara has brown hair, blue eyes, and a spare freckle on her cheecks, and was in great shape :D. She was a little plain in her looks I suppose, but was a great story-teller (as am I ;)). The entire night we hung together and told our funny stories. At the end of the night, I asked for her phone number, which she wrote down on one of the party napkins in orange highlighter.

As she lived so far away, we talked on the phone for a few hours at a time for about a week, got along great. Eventually I asked her out, and despite her being extremely busy, she said "if I can ever get some free time, I'd love to."

Our first date was one with my friend who held the parties. My mother, with her habitual lateness, ended up making me 40 minutes late . After a scuffle with my friend, we left for Burger King, skipping the originally planned Mexican dinner, which was probably just as well considering my infamously bad digestive system.

Seeing Serendipity, we finished the night with a kiss. Unfortunately, this would be our only date, because of the long-distance and a two-week trip to Florida by me. Also, after a week of time where my uncle died, and we didn't talk as much.

When I called her a month and a half after our date, to plan our next date, I left a message on her machine. She called back, saying that she didn't want to go out anymore because she "didn't want a boyfriend right now." I knew it was utter nonsense, considering how long we'd been going out, but let her have her spineless ways. I didn't get particularly upset as we hadn't ended up that close, but I had loved her, just the same.

RIP
Nathan and Lara - October 23rd - December 16th.

Not true you liar!

We all know that you had that special feeling that day you first REALLY looked at yourself in the mirror....

ha ha ha..., :lol
darkshade, yeh, don't bs us. even though you are the #1 poster here now, many of us are older than you. we know! just quit cfc for a day and go to a date w/ a girl. i can assure you that you are intersting enough for most girls out there. though i'm not sure whether the reverse is true, but it's worth a try. :D

'Love' is just a sentimental term for chemical reactions in the human body, essential to reproduction.

Get real, you simpering punks!

1.)One is not "bs-ing" you, person.
Age matters not, and has nothing to do with one's decision on the subject. One's committment to evil celibacy and chaste living is actual, and permanent.

2.) A girl? :vomit: :aargh3: No thank you, I would rather die slowly of a hybrid of gangrenous smallpox and syphillitic Ebola than get girl germs.

3.) No it isn't, for reasons well outlined previously. One has long since purged oneself of such petty, unecessary foolishness, leaving nothing but the iron in the soul. Calamity hath hardened my heart and turned it into stone, and, to paraphrase Iosef Dzhugashvili, my positive feelings for the human race perished. :satan: :D

(Any long ago correspondence on such matters is censored)

Richard III, one does not show up in the mirror.

I wonder if Simon's g/f is reading these posts ;)

Someone has just won themselves an all expenses paid, one way trip to Kamchatka, for forty years of mining dirt with your mouth. :p :mwaha:

Someone said in a movie that love is nothing different from eating large quantities of chocolate...

It seems to be true, because the chemical meaning of love is the urge to breed and it is felt through the release of pheromones, or is it endorphines(?), and that is basically what you get from something thrilling, exciting, or... chocolate...

Simon, yes, but our dear Iosif Vissarionovic also said that gratitude is a sickness suffered by dogs...

Ah, THE girl will descend from Heaven one day.

But one's natural reluctance seems to be an impediment as time goes by, and hardly, no girl seems to appreciate or accept that.

Bah, feeble monkeys!  :D

actually his (or one's) feeling could be real....., darkshade could have been badly burned once, or just be a gay.

but even gays love. :D

edit. & i am sorry to say, but in these types of thing, age does matter in most cases.

btw, darkshade's attitude toward women reminds me that of nietzsche's. it's true despise as result of logical reasoning.

i always thought that nietzche's philosophy suffers from the fact that he didn't get laid enough, though he did screw whores...., and got veneral disease.

1.) Actually, it is real, and not for any of the puerile reasons ye list.
There are other motivations that someone can feel to make them choose the path of abstinence, apart from past bad experience or homosexuality. Neither is the case for moi, as one's choice is a rational and binding decision taken according to belief and principle.

2.) Age is of no matter. To suggest that one's decision is the act of a rash youth is to be patronizing in the extreme, for someone ye do not even know. But the qualification of "most cases" was made, so that made it somewhat more civil.
One is simply not interested, just as a straight man is not interested in other men, nor a gay man interested in women. I am simply above and beyond such things, and have no interest in them.

One does not despise women. I even have been known to occasionally talk to them, in a most courteous and curtly cold manner.
My decision may remind ye of Nietzsche, but it is not motivated by such similar base things. It is a very petty thing to say that one believes what one does simply because "you ain't getting any", as has been said in the past elsewhere; it displays a fundamental inability to come to terms with the fact that someone chooses not to play the game, and would not want to choose otherwise, as one is simply not interested.
Tsk.

And insurgent, he was right.

it was intented to be a semi-joke, (though it may not sound like it)

i do not mean nietzsche any disrespect.

edit, nixon: about your signature, i think nixon copied that (or paraphrased a bit) from nietzsche.

My first ever "crush" was on a girl in primary school when I was about 10.

Years later we met up and she had the honour of becoming "Mrs Rodgers" the 50th. What a lovely circle! :)

The two are not mutually exclusive, Renny boy.
Rodgers, that is just more evidence for your trial.

What would the charge be?

What do you mean, 'charge'? :D
Crimes against the state, unseemly conduct, lewd behaviour, and incurable addiction to being a bounder and a cad.

Then how do fascists reproduce? Flesh vats?

Tsk. Having to give 'the talk' to youngsters... The embryos are artificially inseminated in a proper assembly line, and then implanted in appropriate mothers. This is until that last step can be removed altogether.
