Look in the Creation & Customization forum or Civ3Gen. It's OLD news. Also, please calm down and take it easy playing the game. Read the strategies section, you'll find lots of help. I could even reinstall Civ3 with a 1.21 patch and have a Mac Training Day game. :)

Damn you,in the MOUNTAINS!!!

Oh, well then.... that's different. Whales in MOUNTAINS makes perfect sense. It was just the whales in the DESERT that got me. My bad.

Inventor....

If you have access to a PC, or Virtual PC installed, (at least until the scenario editor arrives for Macs) then you already have all the trainers and cheats that you will ever need.

However comma, I have to concur with everyone else. Rather than cheat, just take your time, look at the strategy guide, or poke around the forums.

However, if you really, really, REALLY want a cheat/trainer, then the scenario editor does just that for you.

For instance, if you need more money, you can simply open a copy of a .bic file and change your starting resources, units, aggression level, starting technologies, etc. You can change how long it takes for certain tasks to be completed. You can change this for either your favorite civ, or you can simply set it so that the human player, regardless of which civ they play can have this advantage/or disadvantage should you choose.

Personally, it's just a bit more rewarding to survive to the end on my own wits, skill, and judgement, rather than have it handed out to me. Besides, the AI isn't exactly the sharpest crayon in the box at times.

You could even give yourself a resource that gives 25 food/shields/commerce. You can compete with the AI with just that city until the industrial ages (if you have all 21 tiles within the city radius using that resource).

:o :o :o ...And how do i do that?
and also i dont have a virtual pc program and never will untill i get a job...im 13 ...almost14..dont think they have any jobs for me ...

Just hang in there, Inventor. Soon as the editor is available, you'll be able to do all of these things.

OR you could try to sweet talk a PC user, or someone with Virtual PC and the hacked Civ III editor into making a scenario for you that will allow you to "KILL"

Rather an understatement, wouldn't you say? I think the most evil change in CivIII over 2 is that I can't easily see my menu bar clock anymore, which is the only clock in my computer room. I have lost count of the number of times I've said, "Well, time for bed." and quit out of Civ to find it's 4AM!

But even with all that- I HAVE NEVER........

EVER........

EVER.......

seen whales in the desert.

Like the Budweiser Ads....TRUE, TRUE!

I had a hearty chuckle at work reading this one because it hit so close to home! It's like Lays potato chips...nobody can play just one hour!

You've inspired me to post a poll!!! I'll put it in the General Discussion area...

That post was hilarious!!

Alright, Inventor. I'll see what I can do for you this weekend.

Alright, Inventor... I just created and uploaded a cheat scenario for you.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42877

In this scenario, the human player starts the game with technologies up until Medieval times. You'll start with 1,000,000 gold, 4 settlers, 8 workers, 4 spearmen, and 4 horsemen. The other civs start with no technologies, and they have their governors set to not manage citizens or production, nor will they build wonders.

That should do you for a cheat.

Don't you think that's a little excessive?
I rarely use more than several thousand gold in a regular game...

Yes, I personally think it's excessive.

However, Inventor said he wanted a cheat, so that's what I gave him ::shrugs:: Me personally, I use the editor to make the scenarios a little harder.

First, unzip it and place it in your scenario folder.

Second, load as a scenario.
