How about freedom-toes. or Pat-triot-toes.

I just say patate ( Hey monique, apporte les patates)
Almost like I call them: patata(singular) - patates(plural).

I say 'Po-TAE-toe' just like everyone else. I have never heard of anyone that actually seriously says 'Po-TAH-toe' on a regular basis.

I was taught British English, and thus say Po-tah-toe.

And I also say Privacy, with the i pronounced like the i in lip or kiss.

And I also like to play the glorious game of Civilisation, and prefer to build harbours, instead of harbors.

@Stapel

You spelled "harbor" wrong.:p;):joke:

I think I'm going to open up a thread. "Which is superior? British spelling, or American spelling?":p

I prefer it if you call it International spelling vs. American spelling :p

Though, most internationals seem to prefer calling it Commonwealth spelling, so I guess you cannot please everyone :)
