I have been to unmoderated sites, and while discussion is "free-er", a lot of good words get lost in the noise. They're great if you want a free-flowing conversation, but if you want serious discussion, a moderated forum keeps the noise down.

I agree. I am just being dramatic for the sake of entertainment.

I have noticed that the quality of discussion here at this forum is top notch. Kudos to TF for the well oiled machine he has here.

If I want to spam or be a topic hijacker, I have another bbs I post at regularly.. . we have a moderator, but he is really lax. suprisingly, discussion seems to go OK there too, and we're a pretty tight-knit bunch. I am close to 4000 posts there, and have been there about 2 years now.

My point is, I am not going to go ape$hit here and try and break the rules. I was just being wacky.

We used to have none of that, your title was the same as everyone else in the same post count bracket, and the avatar was a unit from civ-2, you started as a warrior, became a pikeman, ect. Or was it a phalanx? So long ago, I don't remember!
