Icon needed

I need a small icon, like a smilie or those available to put to the left of a thread title in the list of threads. I choose a CIV one for this thread. It should stand out nicely, not be silly, it can be letters, numbers, or graphic and no bigger than those available here. It should not be personal to me. IT should not be confused with any existing icons or smilies.

Yes it will be for the forums. I haven't a clue about dimensions or KB, but it should "match" what we currently use. I choose the CIV one for this thread because it seems large.

I do not want the icon to be confused with any existing ones, so no smilie faces. I think I'd prefer an abstract image, but it could use letters or numbers in a creative way. The message will be its ability to stand out in an attractive way in a thread listing. At its simplest and least interesting it would be a bright red or other color box.

A ! certainly marks a thread out, but it doesn't seem to mesh with the theme you're thinking of...?

Also I think the color shld be more muted...

I think that conveying the "theme" is less important than being noticed. I am hoping to see a few abstract images, as well as, variations on a !.
