Idea: Update the default titles

Well, now that Civ3 Conquests is coming out, and most of us aren't still playing Civ2, why not update the titles? Suggestion:

Chieftain: minimum posts: 0
Warlord: 100
Regent: 300
Monarch: 600
Emperor: 1000
Demigod: 1500
Deity: 2500
Sid: 5000

Of course, this doesn't really mean anything, and most people give themselves a custom avatar after reaching 30 posts, but hey, why not? And it's not as sexist as "Prince" and "King."

One vote for don't care, there are so few posters who use them that they are more or less custom titles anyway.

Actually, TF, not if it was done "properly":

Chieftain: minimum posts: 0

Emperor: 10000

And while you're at it, you could hide the postcounts completely



P.S. I think that the Civ II ones are best.

Judging at the grow rate of the postcount limits you posted, the last two entries should have been altered to make the list look like this:

Chieftain: minimum posts: 0
Warlord: 100
Regent: 300
Monarch: 600
Emperor: 1000
Demigod: 1500
Deity: 2100
Sid: 2800

Either that triangular progression, or this square progression:

Chieftain: minimum posts: 0
Warlord: 100
Regent: 400
Monarch: 900
Emperor: 1600
Demigod: 2500
Deity: 3600
Sid: 4900

Well, if you don't care, then wouldn't you not mind it being changed? Thus the "Er, sure..." It's not like I said, "Yes, please go ahead! But, um, I don't really care!"

Ahh, but see you are tricking people into supporting your idea there. "Look, all of these people said 'Sure!' and very few objected." Subtle and devious, yes, but I'm on to you. I wouldn't mind it being changed, but I also don't want to be judged as supporting one position over the other The goldfish option though, that's the one for me; the best you can do there is to try and discredit my vote as being from someone who's insane. That, I can deal with.

BTW, to preemptively answer the age-old "if you really don't care, why did you vote" question: voting allows me to see the results without an extra click if I return to the page. Not only am I apathetic, I'm lazy too.

As I like to believe in weird conspiration theories , I think this poll is a subtle attempt to replace the popular monkey by a goldfish.
Will lured me into that trap, too.
