Ideas for improving water magic

we're not including anything, just brainstorming. :P but I'm pretty sure you could make the spell work as a togglable effect that you activate and then deactivate when you don't need it anymore. actually, the "haste" spell should work exactly the same imho, it would be a lot simpler to use that way. of course the unit that has it activated can't cast anything else while that is active.
 
hee hee. You could always make Water Walking be removed by combat/casting, and if the unit starts a turn on a water tile without water walking they drown/die ;) Then you can still attack from water tiles, but you better have a spare mage refreshing the stacks water walking at the end of every turn, and pray they don't hit an important unit with a boat between turns (as you would lose it on defense and be unable to regain it before the start of your turn)
