My opinion:
Statue of Zeus is hugely underpowered...
Well, it's true, so thanks for pointing it out. So what about this:
Statue of Zeus: Triples the influence generated by solving CS quests. Completing quests will give you an additional bonus of military units, money or a great person depending on the type of city state that you helped on the first place.
Apostolic Palace, remove the happiness bonus. City states (and the AI in general) cheat, so they don't need it, and why would I, with the non existent diplomacy, help my 'allies' with happines?
That's a problem of the game, not the wonder
my idea was precisely to improve one of the poorer aspects of the game (diplomacy) trought it. Still, it will be quite cool to use in human VS human games and it would also create a quite curious situation: it is a wonder that you will want it to be under your ally's control, not yours. Having a small, powerless, yet friendly civ having it so you can recieve its bonus. Also, holy crap, screw my idea for the mosque, Asio's is simply freaking great. Original, historically accurate and able to generate synergy with certain social policies and India
mad props to you.
