Hi, i'm wondering if there's an article or a thread discussing score increases in game. And I don't mean what score you get at the end of a game, but the score that can change from turn to turn for every player. Where your score is divided into tech/land/wonders/whatever. Is there an article or something similar that breaks down how many points different things awards? Like if you research this tech, your score bumps up 11 points, or if you grow a pop you get 8 points or whatever. I've searched around but can't find anything.

If you hover over your score it should say where your points are coming from. And BUG shows the turn point change. (Although it could still happen normally, not completely sure on that, I haven't played without BUG for over a year)

I'm not sure about the math behind it. On my typical settings (Normal Imm) it's usually 15-16 pts. per wonder, 5-6 per population point and 6 per ancient-era tech (tech score gets multiplied by era - so it would be, I think, 18 for something like Education or Nationalism). Land varies quite a bit, depending on map size. You can establish it for every game by studying the early increases (i.e. you might notice that you get +6pts for growing to 2 and growing to 3, but +5 for growing to 4 - it's a global number so can vary by individual growth). The numbers are consistent, so if you have, say, 20 pts for 10 land tiles, you'll have 40 for 20. The only quirky thing is that land only counts after 20 turns - if you settle your capital on Turn 0, and its borders pop on Turn 5, you'll get the score increases on Turns 20 and 25 respectively.

Yeah I'm aware of that, I was more looking for the math behind the things, kinda what babybluepants posted (thanks for that!)
