If Evolution was proven to be a fact 100% would there still be creatonists?

evolution is a lie

That answers the OP. We have as much evidence for evolution as we could ever hope to have for any scientific theory and still there are those who persist in calling it intentional deception, despite not understanding it. There will always be Creationists.

You can't prove evolution!

Every time you make a discovery in the fossil record that fits into a fossil gap, the scientists make two gaps!

The number of gaps in the fossil record has gone up with every discovery!

I see so what your saying: it is the more knowledge science finds and the more coroborative evidence that comes from the fossil reocrd the weaker the position of evolution becomes, that's sophistry worthy of the nobel prize for changing your argument to fit the facts, bravo if you ever decide to join wholeheartedly the creationists then I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms.:)

Don't be silly. Evolution cannot be "proven" like a geometry theorem, but the preponderance of available evidence can point without fail to a conclusion with a very high level of confidence. And as more data is added, the conficence level usually goes up. Your unwillingness to accept such evidence does not disqualify the data or the correctness of the conclusion. Newer and better data will redefine the model over time. Sometimes new data will overturn the paradigm and a whole new structure created. Quantum mechanics did this to our view of sub atomic physics not long ago. The study of human genetics is in the process of rewriting our view of who populated the world and when. Robert Ostrom and Bob Bakker destroyed the old paradigm about dinosaurs and birds in the 1970s and 80s and completely changed how we view those to groups of creatures. Evolution is not a static science. Evolution will continue to change as we learn more and hopefully provide a better and better picture life on earth and why things are the way they are.

As a person you are free not to believe it, but it is not your individual belief or my individual belief that makes evolution correct or incorrect; it is the reasoned thought of scientists looking at hard won data that guides the needle of truth.

Birdjaguar, I'm sorry you typed a whole paragraph to dispute my statement. It was so outrageous, I thought it refuted itself. Sigh. Maybe my opinions should be more obvious in OT.

It is true that every discovery increases the number of gaps.

Ancestral Fish ................gap ........................................ Man

Ancestral Fish ........gap....discovery...gap...........................Man

Ancestral Fish ....gap....discovery...gap...discovery ...gap ...Man

Every link in the fossil record increases the number of gaps, but decreases the distance. It would be foolish to think we can fill all the gaps. I thought it was a fun logical fallacy.

I should pay closer attention. But fear not I enjoyed thinking and writing the previous post so it was time well spent, whether or not anyone reads it. :)

Evolution has been proven 100%. It is in no more dispute than gravity, yet there are still creationists. To answer your question: yes.
