What I'm worried about is older games dying on me, eg Civ2 wich are harder to find. I do not back up things, ever. i am too undisiplend or something... lazyness probably.
I think that after 10 years a full copy of a game should be put into this universal database. ANd you can order copies of the game for like, $20 or something... anygame.. As well as a mod database for each game that could be decided on somehow... of course it would probably get hacked and virused within one year. Damn hackers.
My friend had his CD (I cna't remember wich game) shattered in the cd drive. It made the computer run VERY LOUDELY and then it froze, he restarted and went to do other things. Later on that day his sister used the computer and tried to open up the cd drive. After 5 mins they got it open and the cd pieces came mostly out.
