If you could explore any part of the world, where would you go?

I would literally drive around the world! Drive north from Oregon to where the ice is solid enough to drive to the northeastern tip of Russia, drive down to Vladivostock and try to drive along side the trans-siberian railroad to Moscow, drive through the balkans, Italy, southern France, do a U turn in Spain, northern France, take the chunnel to the British Isles an find a ship that will take me and my car to Iceland, tool around there and take a boat to mainland Canada, drive along the North American continent coast down to Florida, then drive directly west across the American desert, then north through California then home again!

And I'd use one of those highly adaptable truck things that you could attach a snow plow or a cow catcher or anything else on the front and attach a mobile home and fuel tanks to the back.
Nice idea, but I don't think you can drive from Alaska to Russia. You need special equipment for that. And don't forget you might need several (many) papers to enter some countries, and some countries have very bad roads (you said you want to drive through the Balkans, but Bulgaria for example has very bad roads).
However I would do this as well.

I'd love explore Inner Mongolia, Balkans and Germany.

Antartica under the ice. Who knows what left behind life forms may have devoloped on the land mass befor it became a frozen waist land. Just look at the biodiversity in Australia.

The Amazon, Nepal, the Fjords of Norway, Canada, the US, New Zealand, Australia and Kenya off the top of my head.

It's kind of hard to mystify any one part of the world when eveywhere is possible to visit....

I guess I would visit this farming community in Poland where my mother and father grew up.

Mossad archives... but I'd probably be dissappointed by what I didn't find.

EDIT: On land. I'd happily settle for being an underwater archeologist.

Anywhere that I can play real life GTA and get away with it.

Realisticlly, Da Lian, the supermodel factory of China.

The norwegian mountains. Just because I love black metal ;)

Africa (Scenery).
I think you might want to meet the girls as well. Try Senegal. This is where all those stunning black models that clutter up Paris seem to come from. Ethiopia is also a great place for human beauty.:scan::goodjob:

f there were no restrictions (financially), where would you go and what would you do?
I'd go everywhere I could. I'm planning on going to Europe again sometime in the next 2-3 years for a good while, but with no restrictions I'd just go on a 5year long bender or something, travelling everywhere and taking in as many festivals and what not as possiable! I'd love to just go from country to country arpound the world, seeing as much as possiable, meeting new people and extending my knowledge.

I'm not sure I could even pick out any particular part. Like A'A, I'd like to visit all seven continents (I've got four of the seven right now). I suppose if I had to choose, I'd go wherever the oldest recorded history and/or human-made structures are, so places like China, the Middle East, and some Greece, Rome, Mexico...

:D To the mountains!

Satyricon fan, are you?

A little. Mostly Darkthrone and Immortal though. Grim and frostbitten kingdoms! :p

Monica Bellucci's bedroom.

Failing that, I'd hit South America. It's the only continent I haven't visited yet, except for Antarctica, but their tourist board isn't quite pulling my strings.
