I perfer
Semper Ubi sub Ubi.
That is the extent of my latin now

Always where (we are) under where? :crazyeye:

EDIT:

How about "Ubi vitium ibi fatui"? "Where there is imperfection, there are idiots."

You know, it took me a minute, but I don't think he meant:

Always where under where?

but maybe he meant:

Always wear underwear.

Bede up, Sesn on deck. Whomp on the way to the Red Sox-Cubs game. :p

Tomoyo I have added Academia Fatui to my profile if you don't mind.

Nobody likes a braggart, especially when we are exceedingly jealous of him. Have a great time, Whomp, Go Sox!!! :p

Oh, in that case I'll have to tell you some details. "Academia Fatui" means "Academy of the idiots". If you'd prefer "Idiotic Academy", it's "Academia Fatua".

I officially got it. First in queue for tonight.

Learned how to think and relieved the world of thier cash. Took Map Making as the bonus, then set research to Mathematics at maximum with over 600g in the treasury.

Built Dyeville on the dyes, duh!, finished the curragh in Paris and then built a galley in Paris, and loaded in an archer to go pacify the Angles to the west.

The Iroquois and Romans learned Code of Laws and it is on offer if we want it for ~320g, and then the Egyptians learned Mathematics, which they will trade for Map Making.

Met the English (in North Africa?) who are ignorant but not broke.

The exploring warrior in the east has found some new borders.

Our settlement spots on the mainland are being used up by the Iroquois (rabbits, they are, rabbits) and the Romans have been fighting off barbarians. The second curragh is heading south, if you look carefully you will find a reachable coastal spot to the west of Iberia, sail there.

Believe that's mine next.

Got it, one journey to the new world, coming up.

Has anyone been keeping track of how many techs we have actually researched? I’ll have to go back and look.

I did the MM for Math trade, then sent Math to Hia for CoL and 32g. Started research on Lit.

Built an archer and a settler out of Odin. Paris built a settler and started on a harbor. Figured we would want to get the horses back from England soon.

The ocean crossing found a little one tile island – I’m not even sure what it is supposed to be.

Our vet archer killed one barb camp, then lost flawlessly to a second.

Hia began the SoZ.

Caesar came and demanded 50g, which I of course gave him.

Mao, Xerxes and Hia all know Lit, which they will sell for under 100g. I’ll leave that for the next person. Kind of surprised they researched it so early though.

Built Rheims on the river NE of Odin.

Have an archer pair in position to claim a game tile near China.

>>>SAVE<<<

Sorry for the delay, I think I'm a bit over the 48hrs. :(

Lucky (*&^*$&^!!

Yeah, Uke is pretty good. He's one of those guys that really makes the pitcher work for the out. Course, the Sox have made a habit of trying to find those types of guys anyhow.

I don't know about Chitown, but out here, it's not "your" cab unless you're actually in it. :p

In New York, cabs don't belong to passengers, they belong to the cabbies...

Since I'm in NY, I rarely get to see Sox games, so the Sunday game was sweet! :D

I had fun with your other people's at the pahk but that was crap! My girl was literally standing in front of the cab and the guy stepped in front of her while she was waiting on my pokey self. Dork. I got him back though. :p
Uke is a "Money Ball" guy that's why he so sweet.

So how many tech's have y'all researched?

Cubs - Sox was a sweet series even for a non-diamond guy like me (ok, my team's the Pirates since the Clemente days, but there's nothing much to talk about lately)

@ whomp - hopefully the girl didn't have to bail you out... At least you're not in Philadelphia where the District Justice has a courtroom in the stadia.

@ latin slingers - thanks for the suggestions. :goodjob: the official motto of the academy is: Semper Ubi sub Ubi (you might be in a accident)

I am pretty close to a die hard Twinkies (MN Twins) fan. I have been following them since '85, when I was five. I watched and listened to games through the good years and the lean years. At least the years aren't so lean anymore.
I just have to convince the wife that we need to drive 600 miles to watch Santana pitch and Hunter rob a homer.
