Read this and thought you might need to know so your images will not be deleted:

Apparently ImageShack has changed their policy, and as of March 1st, you can only have 500 images without paying. This could mean that a lot of images (in stories & tales, for instance) get deleted, unless people have backups of them. Should we inform people of this and direct them to attach images here or upload to imgur? Forum Rules still recommend ImageShack.

So I checked imageshack's FAQ and they are imposing the 500 image limit for free accounts.

They also require a registration now and by default they give you a resized image even when you didn't select resize (you still can get the link to the non-resized image, but it's a pretty ******** change (bad usability) anyway).

I immediately looked for alternative when they started with this crap last week. Now I switched to imgur and/or imagebam as a backup/alternative. Can't give recommendations for any others. These two seem to be the only last useful image upload services.

Tinypic even has captchas... seriously? (left them for good a while a go already).
