Never tell me the odds
Japan has no wish to go to war against Rhodesia, or the UNVIFOR, as long as they stay out of our war against the Hanoi Council.

IC: offering Trade Agreement and Non-agression pact to everyone in Europe.
You have declared war on a power that was being considered for UN protection and also shown aggression towards the peace keeper's most senior member, the UAR. You have attacked the UNVIFOR, more or less.
We are peacekeeping. Keeping the peace. UNVIFOR does not have orders to go around gibbing all the Japanese soldiers in the area.
Then you should have no problem with our invasion of the Hanoi Warlords? After all, Ireland and the majority of UNVIFOR members have already expressed their hostility to them. And if you keep out of Hanoi, Japan does not see why there should be any conflict between itself and the UNVIFOR.
Japan has not attacked the UNVIFOR, but if you want a war, Japan will defend itself.
So you declare war? We do not see how we will fight each other or how one will evict the other, since Japan has not declared war on you. But we note that if you do declare war, expect the greatest war machine on earth coming to Athens.

a large Japanese fleet that close to the Roman Empire will provoke us into action. the Platonic Republic are not allies, but, frankly, id rather they still hold Greece, than japan have it.
you know what, screw it. we offer the Platonic Republic a defensive pact against Japan.
It is funny how scared you are. Japan has stated that it does not wish to attack the UNVIFOR, and yet you are so scared that you think that Japan has already send a fleet to Greece. Indeed, very funny. But what is more funny is the fact that you think that your pathetic military could actually stand any chance against Japan if we really wanted to to attack.
OOC: Ail, to make it clear: Japan has not declared war on you or UNVIFOR and will not declare war. If you want to invade, according to the rules, there must be an official DoW. Since I do not declare war, in order to attack me, you will have to DoW me openly in the thread. Also, something that you may not understand is that even if you DoW, the other members of UNVIFOR may not agree to this and so the UN forces in Vietnam could stay neutral and you would not be able to invade by land my territories in Vietnam. Sorry for the OOC post, but I wanted to clarify this.

What is the council of Hanoi but a tentative alliance based on it's leaders? Rhodesia, for one, considers it nothing more than a warlord with a nicer name. And trust us, we've seen warlords with nicer names in the past
Eire agrees that The Hanoi Council is a scam. However, when we brought this up on the main thread, Sichuan told us to stay out of it, and that the UN couldn't reach the HC's territory without passing through Sinchuan, which is false, since the HC borders UN controlled areas and is accessible from the coast. Perhaps Sinchan has a stake in the HC's survival?
The United Arab Republic currently views the Council as no more than an attempt by regional warlords to continue predatory tactics upon Vietnamese civilians: its government is ad-hoc and its own founding members continue to squabble amongst each other, demonstrating little, if indeed any interest in long-term statebuilding.
OOC: If you invade using UNVIFOR territories, then I ask RC to post that all INVIFOR members declare war on Japan or that he vetoes the use of UNVIFOR territories by Ail for offensive against Vietnam.
Cough, cough, cough. That's quite a defence for the Hanoi Council.
