To get things heated up, Russia declares war on Byzantium woooooo

...why?

The W.A.C would like to ask Russia that if they somehow came across any documents regarding the joint project the Romans did with the Platonics regarding "Assault Rovers" that they share the motor style of the technology for aid in developing automobile industries. We want simply to see the engine design to be shared around the world.

Chancellor Yingjang Shinawatra announced recently in a TV News program that the Thai Marines who shall land in Indonesia shall be 20,000 battle-hardened men and will land after severe bombardment of Indonesia from both air and sea. More than twelve battleships and five Air Divisions will bombard military bases and power station in Indonesia, as well as Industrial Centers.

The Chancellor has expressed his wish that civilian casualties will be limited and he has given instructions to General of Light, Sukhumbhand Paribatra, to avoid bombarding civilian centers and to try to limit as much as possible any civilian casualties. The General of Light has given an interview on TV 7 News Channel, in which he said, "It is my wish that casualties among civilians can be avoided, as our intervention is a humanitarian one. However, this does not mean that we shall allow the Indonesian Junta to prevent it's fall by using human shields. For the greater good, we will bombard strategic locations in Indonesia, whether their Junta uses human shields or not.

- New Emperor Sayammak I

The Emperor of Thailand, Rama XXVII, has retired because of old age. His rule had seen the unification of Thailand, it's economic, military and diplomatic development and the intervention in Indonesia. Generally recognized as a Great Emperor, Rama XXVII shaped the political map of Thailand, although in his later years most power rested in Chancellor's Yingjang Shinawatra hands and some argue that Rama became a figurehead Emperor.

Crown Prince Sayammak, who has succeeded Rama XXVII as Emperor Sayammak I of Thailand, is only 24 years old and Chancellor Yingjang Shinawatra was his teacher, so he has a close relationship with him and analysts expect that the Chancellor will amass even greater political power now. Few Democracy Activists rioted in Bangkok, but the Riot Police easily crushed them.

Jerusalem embargoes Thailand for its continued escalation of the Indonesian crisis.

From: Thailand
To: UAR

Thailand protests strongly at the UAR embargo. We are taking a police action against an extremist state that discriminates against almost half of it's population and threatens the peace and stability of the region. Of course, you could say that since Indonesia has not attacked us directly, so we should take no action against them. However, shall we allow such Juntas to act freely? Shall we make the same mistakes as the UK and France, who allowed Hitler and his Nazi gang to holocaust 6 million Jews? For their ideology and the ideology of the Indonesian Junta is the same. The only thing that changes is that men replace the Jews as the social team considered lower.

The UK and France, at that time, did nothing and allowed WWII and the holocaust to happen. Do you approve being at peace and allowing such regimes to continue to exist? UAR has shown that it does not allow extremism and imperialism and so it confronted Japan. Had you not confronted the Japanese Imperialism, would peace have come to East Asia? We are doing the same thing that you did previously, only that you acted against Japanese imperialism and we against Indonesian extremism.

As you can see, civilian casualties are the lowest of almost all recent police actions and wars so far. The Thai Government has taken measures to ensure that civilian casualties are as minimal as possible, and this can be seen from our actions. For we are not just talking about preventing such casualties, we are actually preventing such casualties and this can testified by any independent NGO.

Our intentions in Indonesia are to provide a stable and democratic government. That can be seen from the fact that we want to organize free and fair elections overseen by the UN and other NGO's and that we do not plan to annex any territory of Indonesia at all. So, we are not taking military action for any economic or territorial reasons, nor can we make Indonesia a puppet state, since the UN will be allowed to testify that the elections are free and fair.

Also, is it not hypocritical that you criticize and embargo Thailand over taking action against an extremist state, while at the same time you take no action against Russia which, for no reason, has declared war against the Roman Empire? If you actually care about world peace, why are you selective towards your embargoes?

For all those above reasons, we strongly protest about the UAR embargo and hope that UAR will see reason and shall stop it's hypocritical and almost imperialist and bullying actions.

Lurker's Comment: Eventually, all internet arguments end up with a comparison to Hitler or the Nazi Party.

Byzantium is a threat to world peace.

The Japanese empire was outwardly aggressive and an immediate threat to its neighbour states. Indonesian foreign policy seems designed to maintain rigid isolation from the global community, and as such, does not constitute such a threat. If its misandrist policies are a shred as counterproductive as they are draconian, the state will implode by its own hand, either through community disintegration or internal rebellion. The international community should work to contain the damage, not encourage more bloodshed that will inevitably escalate into a regional crisis. Moreover, Thailand's motives in this conflict are already suspect, given that it has incrementally redrawn the line for its unilateral and self-imposed mandate toward all-out war.

Firstly, you have still not addressed what is your stance on Russian aggression against Rome. It seems that you care about world peace and bloodshed only when your interests are not involved.

Secondly, how are our motives suspicious, when we have stated that the Marines shall take over only Military bases and certain strategic locations and despite our invitation for UN and other NGO's to oversee the upcoming elections once the Junta is overthrown?

Germany will join the UAR in their embargo against Thailand.

Surprisingly, comparing our friends to Nazi Germany is not a very sound argument.

a meeting of the African Union's top minds in industry and economy, as well as good and true relations with the UAR lead us to state:
Economically Thailand is behaving unsoundly, so we join the embargo.

- Chancellor Yingjang Shinawatra

Simon (S): Welcome viewers to TV 7 News. TV 7 is the largest channel in Thailand and one of the largest international channels as well. We hope that we can bring you verified and secure information about Thailand and the world. Today, we have the honor to interview Chancellor Yingjang Shinawatra on the Indonesian War. Welcome Mr. Shinawatra. It is our honor to have you here.

Yingjang Shinawatra (Y): I am pleased to be able to answer yours and many peoples' questions.

S: Good. Let us first see our report of the Indonesian conflict.

The roots of the current conflict in Indonesia lie in the recent Civil War. The Indonesian Civil War, which lasted from June 2108 to October 2108, oversaw the complete defeat of the legal Indonesian Government by Feminist Rebels. Thousands died in the Civil War and the country turned into a Dictatorship which discriminates almost half of it's population.

The new oppressive regime threatened the peace and stability of East Asia and it's oppression of men and the curtailing of Indonesians' democratic rights made Indonesia one of the most repressive regimes in the world. Thailand decided that this would last no longer. So, in Autumn 2112, Thailand intervened in Indonesia.

The Thai Navy blockaded Indonesia while the Thai Air Force bombarded military facilities and power stations. Civilian casualties were kept to a minimum and the military of Indonesia seems to have been severely damaged and is not expected to put up any serious resistance. However, the Indonesian Government refuses to surrender and has further curtailed the democratic rights of the Indonesian people, 20,000 Thai Marines are expected to take over strategic locations in Indonesia and a coalition of nations, headed by UAR, embargoes Thailand in support of the Indonesian Regime. What will happen next?

S: I would like to thank the TV 7 News team for their report. Now, let us begin the interview. Chancellor, there have been worries about the escalating of the conflict. Will Indonesia be another large scale war?

Y: No. Not at all. Only 20,000 Thai Marines are involved. This force is a small one and certainly does not aim to fight a large scale conventional war. Instead, it shall take over strategic locations and allow an Indonesian Government to be formed. Once this happens, the Thai Marines will take the role of training an Indonesian Army and shall allow the Indonesians themselves to fight the war against the regime that oppresses them.

S: What kind of the government will that be?

Y: It will a temporary one made up of democracy activists, opposition politicians, businessmen and local leaders. It's mission shall be to organize an Indonesian army, defeat the regime and secure stability in Indonesia. Once this happens, elections overseen by the UN and other NGOs shall take place.

S: I understand. After the elections, will there be any military presence of Thailand in Indonesia?

Y: If the elected Indonesian Government agrees, we plan to leave 1,000 Marines and a small part of our Naval and Air Forces to help fight off any insurgents. But no, there will be no large military presence after the elections. The Indonesians will have to govern their state on their own. We can help them, but we cannot take that responsibility from them.

S: UAR and other nations have embargoed Thailand. What do you plan to do about this?

Y: Our intervention shall continue as normal. I am confident that once UAR and the other nations see that civilian casualties are kept to a minimum and that Thailand has no imperialistic aim in it's intervention, then the embargoes shall be lifted.

S: Do you believe that the embargoes will have any large scale effect on the Thai economy?

Y: No. There might be some shortcomings, but the government will be able to deal with them. After all, our main economic partner, PAU, continues to have normal economic relations with us.

S: On the matter of civilian casualties, do you believe that you shall be able to limit them?

Y: So far, civilian casualties have been kept to a minimum. So, Thailand has shown that it has both the will and the capabilities to enact large scale military operations while at the same time avoiding as much as possible civilian deaths.

S: Thank you for your time. Viewers, I thank you for watching us. Have a good day!

Seeings that I'm going into the army in like 12 days now I won't be able to play this

I'm handing the PAU off completely to Sone if he's still interested and if not, request that the PAU is NPC's in all its glory
