Imperium Romanum is a 'Rise of Rome' style scenario for Beyond the Sword that I'd hoped to try. Having checked the game files, it does not have a DLL that I could find, but it nevertheless crashes when I try to load it. (At Init XML (uncached), to be precise).

The mod is at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=342350 if anyone would be willing to try and help.

Thank you!

Sorry for not posting earlier, vacation issues. If you still have the file, would you be so kind as to post it?

@flintlock: Great that you invested some work here, so everyone can take a look at the mod and see what it's like. Even if OgreProdigy never comes up with a mac-compatible version, at least you opened a source of some excellent skins, hard researched units, unit names and a quiet good map, as well. Just those are the particular strenghts of the mod, apparently. And on occasion of this post, thumbs up for Battle of Hastings, which I only never played at lenght, because this historical topic isn't my cup of tea.

©Europa Barbarorum mod for RTW 1.6 aren't they no ?
But true the mod itself is not very good or addictive (no insult here, I do appreciate the work put into this mod), contrarily to Pye's Antikes Europa, which has a great new dynamic, plenty to build and research. :goodjob:

@Taneda Satôka: True, but when you compare it to Pie's Antikes Europa, be fair and compare it to the awful, empty, unfinished Peloponnesian Mod, too, that Fireaxis had the nerve to deliver with the retail product. :shake: And if you take in account, that the mod is out only since October, there will likely be some improvement and further development. Also, what can be said in favor of FromAustria's work, it has personality and peculiarity, it's cute in a way, isn't it? Regarding ©: Of course, this needs to be credited properly, but importing it to the world of Mac-modding does serve our interest, doesn't it :traderoute:?

Hello,
With this mod I get a constant crash, whatever the scenario or year, when one of the "Most advanced/cultured/Wealthiest civilizations of the world" little menu pops up. I hear the beginning of the music accompanying it then it crashes. Always in 150 BC...

Does anybody get the same thing and know how to solve that ? Or just deactivate the announcement ....

Excuse me, but I didn't write this map. I just thought it was a neat idea that I'd like to play. FromAustria wrote this map.

Edit: I'm getting the same problem as you, Taneka. It crashes whenever I get past January of 150 BC.

It happened to me, at least. I'm guessing that the problem is that there was a missed bug in the replacement XML file - Flintlock said there were too many bugs for him to easily manage to fix by hand.

The solution to the 150BC bug is >>here<<.

The bug seems to be in Assets\XML\GameInfo\GameSpeedInfo.xml
If I change
Code:
<GameTurnInfo>
	<iMonthIncrement>12</iMonthIncrement>
	<iTurnsPerIncrement>150</iTurnsPerIncrement>
</GameTurnInfo>
to
Code:
<GameTurnInfo>
	<iMonthIncrement>12</iMonthIncrement>
	<iTurnsPerIncrement>550</iTurnsPerIncrement>
</GameTurnInfo>
the problem disappears.
