If you've looked to the Editor Help (the window you get when you press F1 in the editor) you have probably been disappointed by the vague information.
I've mentioned a few times that I've been thinking about putting together an improved Editor Help file that would actually be helpful for modders. It would include detailed information on each flag, button, and dialogue box, as well as frequent problems and questions.
If there is significant interest in something like this, I will go ahead and do it. I found a trial program for creating .CHM files, so this could simply replace the default help file.

If I decide to do it, any help would be appreciated. I've played with the editor enough to know what most things actually do, but some of you know more than I do.

I don't think i can help much since i haven't tryed to many things with the editor, but i just wanted to say that you should also add which building traits are cumulative (for example Doubles Research is cummulative).
I asked this before ... (i'll look for the thread). It is important when there are lots of wonders&buildings around. Other mod makers surely need this.

EDIT: Nate1976 quoted CyberChrist about this (in one of my first threads:))
If you are going to add this to the help file then you should check this: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=3571780&postcount=6

I haven't used the help file too much, but I can see that this would be very helpful for new modders. So, in other words, I probably wouldn't get too much help from this myself, but it would increase your kharma. :)

Edit: voted yes.

I always found the help files to be super.... helpful. But Sure.

It took me like. .two minutes to remember how to spell always

Edit: Chuck Norris Doesn't Need a Help File.

Overall it's pretty good, at least from the standpoint of someone who is new enough to the editor to need it, but IMO there is room for improvement. There are some things that aren't quite as intuitive as they would seem, and others that need better explanations than what is given.
Case in point:
C3CEdit Help said:
King
Units is flagged as a "king" unit, and possess all the advantages (and disadvantages) of that designation.

Really? It can't say that! No way can it say that.

EDIT: :twitch: It really says it.
