I played plenty. Really... I did my time (including a couple different multiplayer competitive ladders).
I moved on when Sid refused to fix the OOS bug in multiplayer for amphibious attacks (caused by the last BTS patch released). The civ-player community has released an unofficial patch (last month) that does not cause a *mod* tag, but each player needs to have installed it. It's been a year+, and Sid still has not fixed the problem. I did move on to a mod Fall From Heaven II which is way better than vanilla BTS for about a year (perhaps 6 months) after I gave up on Sid ever taking care of the MP community. Heck, he released Civ Revolutions and a few patches for that (after we got the OOS problem) but totally abandoned BTS multiplayers. So screw him.

I played it a lot for over a year. Not anymore though... Now I'm ready for news of Civ 5. Seriously. Just a news of some sort. Around the time BtS came out, I was thinking that I would be disappointed if Civ 5 wasn't released before the end of 2010. My interest level is dropping by the minute. It needs to be rekindled.
