In code mountains probably can't be fresh water at the same time.

As for bias, I'm not sure how the C++ part of the code works. The LUA part I'm familiar with.

Mountains used to get the freshwater/river labels. I remember them being boosted by Hydro Plants. I think it got removed because it was weird.

Mountains are freshwater when next to rivers.

It skips the check for lakes/oases if the plot is mountain.

Maybe polders (but that's a discussion for the Dutch thread), but not terrace farms. TFs don't compete with the improvements that Cathedrals boost, and they're plenty strong enough already.
