Increase no of lairs and dungeons

Hi, how do i increase the number of lairs and dungeons generated on my maps? (like 1.5 of the actual no.) Can you tell me where to change this value? ty
 
It is probably tied to the <iAppearanceProbability> tag in CIV4ImprovementInfos.xml. I'm no expert on this, but you may simply need to increase those numbers by a factor of 50%.

I believe that more lairs means the probability of units spawning at each of them goes down though, along with the probability of barns spawning without lairs.

Yeah it is, I use that tag to make city ruins spawn at the beginning of the game. Gives a feel for a greater world and history. :)
 
Do the city ruins raise the AC? If not, this would also provide a much needed way to lower it by a few points with Sanctify. That spell is one of the few that can have an effect on the AC but doesn't get much use if you are not personally raising cities.
 
Actually, I would prefer some new dungeons. Something that spawns a different creature. I think it would be interesting and make Erebus a little more dangerous in the beginning.

i miss the super monkeys so much... what happened to them? and the super bird of course =)
