Indian units request

Hawt frickin' dawg!

Very nice!

Although if that's a dhoti, the loincloth part should be the same colour as the trousers. The idea is that it's a single length of cloth which is wrapped around his legs and up between them, but no such clothing figure exists, hence the need to simulate it with trousers and a loincloth. For my Indian units I also made the loincloth wider so that it blended into the trousers better.

Well, I tried that, but it didn't fit with the whole color scheme. I tried it all red, and he didn't look as good as he does with gray pants. (My number one career test result was costume designer, followed by fashion designer, after all, ;).)

There's my khukri! Damnit! Give that back!

Thanks for considering it, Odin :goodjob:

Hmm, the test told me to be a truancy officer, or a fish farmer. Actually it told everyone to be a fish farmer - I think it must have been sponsored by the British Fish Council or something. It goes without saying that I can think of no job I'd like to do less than that of truancy officer.

How about window washer? Or chimney sweep? Those were both in my top 20.

Looking back through the thread I see where the grey pants idea came from. That concept art is for a R:TW mod - if I understand properly, R:TW units have much less detail than C3C and this unit was designed for a fantasy mod based in East Asian mythology. I don't think they paid much attention to what was authentically Indian.

Take a look at these thumbnailed images (previously posted elsewhere in reference to the "Golden Warrior") and see if there's anything usable (i.e. better color options) with more "period" authenticity than what will unfortunately look like a Sepoy wearing cast off kit:

But now its not a real dhoti thingy.. :(

But.. you told us you date girls!

We don`t have those tests around here, and I always wanted to take one :(

I think I remember what I got. I think it was a toss up between Window dresser and book-keeping. I only realised afterwards that I took the test for girls that was printed in the mid 80's.

I wanted to be a window dresser after seeing this, but for very, very wrong reasons.

Returning to the topic, I didn't see those extra Golden Warrior pics before. I've already done the skirt as it is in the original concept art, and I'm not sure about the sacred thread thing - that's not going to show up even at pedia icon scale, let alone civ scale. But a longer bow at least shouldn't be a problem.

Ooo! Ooo! Plotinus! Preview! :bounce:

It's the Royal Guard - the one you said needed changing. You're forgetting your demands in your old age ;) !

Yay! Thanks Rob :)
So, now that he is losing a shield, will he get some armour? I don`t know much about Indian armour types and all that, so I don`t know if he should have any.

Ooooodin! Looks great. Luv teh khukri!
