Indian units request

A lot of random ideas rather than suggestions:
  • The hair need not show at all if that's easier.
  • I'd loose the blue part of the skirt
  • The upper part of the skirt could have wider wavy stripes with civ color in place of the red (maybe that's too much trouble).
  • The long front piece of the skirt that's gold now could be civ color with the rest as is.
  • I think the helmet will be fine. If you put a medallion on the front of it that could be civ colored also.
  • Either the circle of the shield could be civ color with the dots & boss gold, or the reverse.
  • I agree with Spacer One that the thread could be slightly longer.

Cool! I'd be happy with him as is, Plot, but don't listen to me, I'm too easy to please.

Does the archer's quiver have to be on his lower back/hip, as in the concept art, or can it be in the more familiar upper back position too? Either is doable but the latter is a little easier simply because it's more similar to the animations I already have.
Looked through some images and the upper back quiver is widely shown.

Thanks for the help there. I've now finished these units - you can get them here. I'm afraid I decided to keep the skirt as it is, since Rob preferred it that way and it's his request. I tried making the shield partly civ-coloured and it looked vile, so I changed it to two shades of gold, which I think looks pretty good.

Yes, the Long Kilt is a useful prop (especially after utahjazz7 remade it so that it works) but it's an absolute bugger to use, since you have to adjust it frame-by-frame. This is true of most of those kilts and long clothy things such as utah's surcoat figure too. The way the skeleton is rigged means there's just no way to make something like that which will automatically conform to the legs.
