Im useing a colection of older programs but the most helpfull is the SBB program and of course Flicster.

If you want you can get demos of 3d max Ray dream (I think its still got a demo) and paintshop pro (a nice program for touch ups and previews) or even Photoshop (a personal fave). I recomend Ray Dream if you can get a demo it is simple but efective program with a small learning curve but is very hard to create people with.

I dont think it matters what programs you use (concidering we make no profit off of these). You just need any 3d program and a image program. For info on how to see the tutorials section.

Insofar as a name is concerned, "Destroyer" is actually shortened from "Torpedo Boat Destroyer". With the advent of the torpedo, every admiral had nightmares of losing their very precious battleships to small craft armed with torps -- essentially, early PT Boats. So the first Destroyers were specifically meant to screen capital ships from such nightmarish nuisances. This later carried over into ASW etc.

... So you can cover all bases by calling it "TBD" -- although I assure you, despite the play on acronyms, the story is true.

Exactly right. Torpedo boat destroyers were designed to do exactly what their name suggests. Eventually, the torpedo boats were getting shot up so badly that a way to protect them had to be found...and the navies of the world decided to submerge them. As late as WW1, a frigate was still considered more powerful than a destroyer. But as the submarines got more and more advanced, the ships specifically designed to face them had to evolve as well. Because of this process, today, destroyers are generally considered more powerful than frigates, which are still filling the role of a light surface warship.

I was just wondering about the same thing. I just downloaded your units and was going to add them to my mod when I discovered these were missing.

A big battleship!

These ships are truly wonderful, the size relation is perfect!

I would hail thee to the gods if you could undertake a Battleship, one even bigger and menacing than the Cruiser!

It would make a fine flavour or UU, and complete the superb set.
